The next morning the weather is worst. Oh well, you have to keep moving.

Everything is still green. When I was by this way a few years ago it was brown.

It’s a bit chilly out but the riding is nice.

Now we are definitely in rain…..

Rain sucks!

We decide to head west and try to get out of this wet stuff.

Is Ronnie still back there….he’s a good tail gunner!

See the M on the hill…that stand for Missoula.

From here we take Hwy 12 west down this long canyon. 77 miles of twisties, no services anywhere.

Better fill up here.

77 miles later you arrive here.

Another 12 miles later we stop for the night.

Next morning the weather is looking better.

I decide to take a short cut to hit hwy 14 which lead to the hwy we were trying to get to. It turns out this road is unpaved. Hardpan! For over 10 miles we traveled on this road. Here we stopped along side this wheat field. Love this picture.

Here is another view of this lovely road.

We saw some strange vehicles along the way but this was the weirdest.

Lots of construction in this area.

And what would a road trip be without a visit to a local WalMart

Now we are passing through south Idaho. Quite different than northern Idaho.

Ronnie…making tracks!
